Paint Partys at ARTspot are like Paint & Sip events, but with more instruction painting skills offered.
Make a painting. Have fun. Learn some cool art stuff. A Paint Party with Tracy is designed to be fun and to teach some real painting skills. You will arrive to a canvas, paints and brushes set up for you. Tracy will take you step by step. You will enjoy seeing the magic of color unfold on your canvas.
During our three hours together, enjoy some refreshments while you paint along step-by-step. Beginner to intermediate level painters… or anyone who wants to have an enjoyable evening being creative!
Everyone get to take a finished painting home at the end of the evening!
On-The-Spot Membership includes one paint party! Refer to your OTS monthly emails for promo code. Bring your Ravenna Easel and OTS paintbrushes for instruction on use at the workshop. We supply the paints!

Colorful Still Life painting

Even if you have never painted before, you will create a gorgeous floral still life while learning the magic of color. Most Paint & Sip events are just for fun. An additional aspect of Tracy’s Paint Party is actual instruction in some interesting aspects of art.
In painting this still life, you will learn about "Complementary" colors. It’s a fancy way of putting colors side by side to “pop!” You’ll see how colors work together when mixed, and how colors play when side by side. Follow along with Tracy’s step-by-step technique. It’s easy and fun to create a gorgeous floral still life while learning the magic of color.
Make your painting your own. We encourage you to use the colors you love.
Funky Abstract Portrait

Some of Tracy’s most popular paintings are her portraits done in vibrant colors and abstracted style. You will be able to follow along step by step to sketch in a face with painted lines, then fill in with colors of your choosing. It’s so fun to see how they all turn out so unique and individualized… just like we are! Celebrate getting to learn to draw and paint a very cool image of a face to take home with you.
Your landscape painting can be based on a place you love.
Landscape with Collage
Sunday, September 14, 4-7 pm
Everything included for $125.00
Bring a photo or print of a favorite landscape to use as inspiration for your painting. You will paint a loose and lively background, then you can incorporate your photo right into the painting with instruction from Tracy.
A final few touches and you will have a wonderful artwork to enjoy.

Learn the secrets of sketching from experienced urban sketchers who have spent years capturing the beauty of the world in their sketchbooks.
Students meet at ARTspot for a brief indoor overview before heading out on foot to explore Downtown Edmonds through sketching.

Call for Scholarship Students!
Join the waitlist to take a workshop as a scholarship student! Scholarship students will get to participate in a workshop free of charge and will act as a teacher assistant. Responsibilities may include taking photos, acting as a “point person” once the workshop has begun, and helping with set up/take down. ARTspot will select the scholarship student in the order submitted, based on workshop availability. Must be 16+.
